Grouse Head Talisman, a relic built in the mind’s forest, toted around for a year, and followed earnestly. The record is the sonic equivalent: an homage to making your own luck, to friendship as a frequency, and to the hum of the tube. Recorded in a SF studio smelling of amaro and old cables, it's rock n' roll pulled through the fog conduit: Bay Area garage lust meeting Montana river rock.
